About Clean and Green
Clean & Green is a preferential tax assessment program, that bases property taxes on use values rather than fair market values. This ordinarily results in tax savings for landowners. The Pennsylvania General Assembly enacted this program in 1974 as a tool to encourage protection of the Commonwealth’s valuable farmland, forestland and open spaces.
The 2025 West Middlesex Area School Tax cards have been mailed for Lackawannock Township, Shenango Township, and West Middlesex Borough.
Please notify the Tax Collector if you did not receive a tax bill.
